The Home

Minutes from Uptown, with room outside

Built in 2014 and owned by one family since, this single-level Craftsman sits in Druid Hills, steps from Druid Hills Park and about a 20-minute walk to Camp North End. Uptown is 2.6 miles away, yet every evening you come home to a deep covered front porch, a private fenced backyard and off-street parking for up to five cars.

Real, site-finished hardwood runs through the living areas, all three bedrooms and every closet, a finish you rarely find in new construction. A built-in console table greets you in the foyer, and the open main level unfolds from there: kitchen, dining and living in one bright space. The kitchen brings white cabinetry, granite counters, a subway tile backsplash, stainless appliances and a breakfast bar. Built-in bookshelves anchor the living room beside the back door.

Primary Suite and Outside

Built-ins, a fenced yard and parking for five

The primary suite sits at the back of the home for privacy, with a full wall of floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe cabinets, a walk-in closet fitted with custom drawers and shelving, and a private bath with a double vanity and a walk-in shower. Two more bedrooms and a full hall bath give you an office, a guest room or a nursery.

Out back, a privacy fence about four years old wraps a big, level yard with a poured concrete patio, a raised garden bed and a storage shed. The lot keeps going about 20 feet past the fence line. Off-street parking fits up to five cars, including one spot behind the gate.

The Neighborhood

A rebuilt park down the street, Camp North End up the road

Druid Hills Park is just down the street, and Mecklenburg County finished renovating it in 2025: walking trails, community gardens, a playground, picnic shelters and a stage with restrooms, free public Wi-Fi, and a full basketball court refurbished by the Charlotte Hornets and Lowe's.

About a 20-minute walk away, Camp North End fills 76 acres around a 1924 Ford plant that later served as a World War II Army depot: HEX Coffee, Free Range Bar, Gravity Sourdough Pizza, pickleball at the Tipsy Pickle, Goodyear Arts, and free Live Friday Nights music every week through October. In February 2026 Jamestown, the Atlanta firm that developed Ponce City Market and operates Optimist Hall, became its lead developer, and in August the transit authority board added a Camp North End station to the planned Red Line commuter rail route.

Sprouts, Optimist Hall, NoDa and the Blue Line's 25th Street station are each about five to seven minutes by car, and the I-77 on-ramp at Atando Ave is about 0.7 miles away. Renza, a new 334-unit community at 3245 Statesville Ave, is now leasing up the corridor.
